Hyatt Vivid Hotels is bringing its experiential all-inclusive concept to Punta Cana with a second property, following the brand's debut in Cancun in April 2024. The Dominican Republic location will target a younger generation of vacationers with programming-driven experiences and a more relaxed atmosphere than traditional luxury all-inclusives.

Hyatt Vivid launched as a new brand within the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, positioning itself between the upscale Secrets tier and the mainstream Dreams level. The concept emphasizes live music, curated activities, and social spaces designed to encourage interaction among guests — a departure from the quiet-luxury approach of brands like Hyatt Zilara.

Growing the Inclusive Collection

The Punta Cana expansion is part of a broader push by Hyatt to fill gaps in its all-inclusive portfolio. The company's Inclusive Collection now spans nine distinct brands: Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets, Breathless, Dreams, Hyatt Vivid, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Sunscape, Alua, and the recently added Bahia Principe.

With the Playa Resorts acquisition adding 15 properties and the Bahia Principe integration bringing 22 more, Hyatt's all-inclusive count now exceeds 130 resorts. The company has moved from a minor player in the space to the dominant force in under five years.

A specific opening date for Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana has not been confirmed, but the property is expected to join the portfolio later this year.
