Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Opens With Swim-Out Suites and a Hidden Speakeasy

Hyatt Vivid has opened its first all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is now welcoming guests on the beach in Cabeza de Toro, a 467-room adults-only resort that expands the brand beyond Mexico and into one of the Caribbean's busiest leisure markets.

The debut adds another adults-only flag to Hyatt's growing Inclusive Collection footprint in Punta Cana, where the company already counts dozens of resorts. For travelers who liked Hyatt Vivid Cancun or Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen, this is the first chance to try the same relaxed, socially driven format on Dominican sand.

What is included for guests

All 467 rooms and suites use warm neutrals, natural textures, and private balconies or terraces facing the ocean, gardens, or resort grounds. The higher Vantage Club tier covers 69 suites, including swim-out options and a private lounge with more personalized service. Rates reported around opening started near $396 a night for Hyatt members and about $432 for non-members, with swim-up categories closer to $515, all-inclusive.

Dining is built for flexibility rather than a rigid schedule. Guests get nine venues: five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, a beach club, and a wellness café, plus seven bars that include a swim-up and a hidden speakeasy. Reservations are not required, and the dress code stays casual across the collection.

On-property programming includes mural painting that ends at the speakeasy, tuk-tuk style gatherings, stargazing, and beachfront bonfires.

Hyatt Inclusive Collection now markets more than 150 resorts across the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. In the Dominican Republic alone, Hyatt cites about 30 Inclusive Collection resorts and more than 16,000 rooms.
