This New Punta Cana All-Inclusive Was Built for a Different Kind of Traveler
Hyatt's newest adults-only all-inclusive opened in Punta Cana with 467 rooms, four pools, and a hidden speakeasy — aimed squarely at younger guests.
Hyatt has opened Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, an adults-only all-inclusive on the shores of Cabeza de Toro that marks the debut of its Hyatt Vivid brand in the Dominican Republic. The 467-room resort is pitched at a younger, more social traveler — the Gen Z and millennial crowd that has driven much of the recent growth in all-inclusive bookings.
Vivid is Hyatt's answer to that shift: less formal than a traditional luxury all-inclusive, built around flexibility, experiential programming and wellness rather than white-glove service. In Punta Cana, that translates into a layout designed for people who want to move between a party pool and a quiet one without leaving the property.
Dining runs to five a la carte restaurants, an international food hall and a bar and grill, backed by seven bars and lounges pouring top-shelf domestic and international spirits. Tucked among them is an intimate hidden speakeasy — the kind of detail meant to be discovered and shared rather than advertised.
Wellness anchors the rest of the resort. The Zenda Spa leans on Dominican botanicals for its treatments, and the grounds include padel and pickleball courts, functional training areas and yoga sessions. Four swimming pools round out the layout, among them a quieter pool with its own wet bar.
The opening extends a Vivid footprint that already includes Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun and Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen in Mexico. Adding a flagship in Punta Cana gives the brand a foothold in the Caribbean's busiest all-inclusive market and signals that Hyatt sees the younger, adults-only segment as more than a passing trend.
