Seven Jamaica All-Inclusives Just Landed a New Reopening Date — Here's When This Resort Cluster Returns
A large block of Montego Bay and Rose Hall all-inclusive rooms under the Hyatt Inclusive Collection is now targeting a November 2026 return.
Seven Hyatt Inclusive Collection resorts clustered around Montego Bay and Rose Hall are now scheduled to reopen on November 1, 2026, restoring one of the largest remaining blocks of offline room inventory in the area. The properties have been closed since Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica in late October 2025, and their return was pushed later as the scope of renovation work expanded.
The group covers a wide range of brands under one operator: Breathless Montego Bay, Dreams Rose Hall, Hyatt Zilara Jamaica, Hyatt Ziva Jamaica, Jewel Grande Montego Bay, and two Secrets resorts — Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid. A separate property, Zoetry Montego Bay, is set to return earlier, in March.
The timing matters because the cluster sits in Montego Bay and neighboring Rose Hall, the corridor that carries much of the island's all-inclusive capacity. While brands including Riu, Iberostar and parts of the Sandals portfolio have already reopened Jamaica hotels, the continued absence of these seven resorts has kept a meaningful share of adults-only, luxury and family rooms out of the market through the peak winter booking window.
For travelers planning a late-2026 Jamaica trip, the November date sets a clearer target for when high-end options in the Rose Hall area come back online. For the destination, it marks another step in a recovery that has moved quickly, with major operators announcing firm return dates rather than open-ended timelines.
