Hyatt's Newest Adults-Only Brand Opens Its Second Resort This Month — With Four Pools and a Hidden Jazz Club

Hyatt is set to open Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana on August 30, giving its youngest all-inclusive brand its second property in less than a year. The adults-only resort sits along the Cabeza de Toro stretch of Punta Cana, on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

The 467-room resort leans into the flexible, design-forward concept that defines Hyatt Vivid Hotels, the brand that launched with Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun and later added Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. Punta Cana marks the brand's first move into the Dominican Republic.

Guests will find four pools, swim-out rooms with direct water access, and a lineup of five specialty restaurants alongside casual dining. The talking point is a speakeasy-style jazz club tucked into the property — an unusual touch for an all-inclusive built around energy and nightlife. Pickleball and tennis courts, a full spa, and indoor and outdoor fitness spaces round out a wellness component that Hyatt has pushed to the front of the Vivid experience.

The opening extends the reach of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which already operates Zilara and Ziva resorts across the region. Punta Cana has become one of the most contested all-inclusive markets in the Caribbean, and adding a Vivid property gives Hyatt a younger, more casual option next to its luxury lines.

Rooms are on sale now for stays beginning at the end of the month, with grand-opening rates available for early bookings.
