Hyatt is bringing its newest all-inclusive brand to one of the Caribbean's busiest resort markets. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is now slated to open in the third quarter of 2026, becoming the second property under the adults-only Hyatt Vivid brand and the only one in the Caribbean.

The resort leans into a younger, more contemporary version of the all-inclusive formula. Plans call for four pools, including a quieter adults' pool with its own wet bar, along with swim-out rooms that open directly onto the water. On the recreation side there are pickleball and tennis courts, indoor and outdoor gyms, a juice bar, and a full spa.

Dining is where the property tries to separate itself. Alongside five specialty restaurants, a beachfront grill, and a sports bar, the resort will add a speakeasy-style jazz club, a nighttime venue rarely found at large all-inclusives. Early rates start around $409 per night for stays beginning September 1.

The opening deepens Hyatt's already crowded footprint in the Dominican Republic, where the company has been stacking properties across Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Playa Esmeralda, and Santo Domingo. Its Inclusive Collection here already spans Secrets, Dreams, and a portfolio of more than 20 Bahia Principe resorts through its venture with Grupo Pinero.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana will also chase group business, with a convention center built for up to 1,000 people. The brand debuted with Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun; the former Vivid there is being rebranded as a Mondrian, which leaves Punta Cana as the concept's Caribbean flagship. For a destination that keeps absorbing new adults-only resorts, it's one of the more closely watched openings of the year.
