Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana Now Books Stays From April 1, 2027

Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana is now accepting reservations for stays beginning April 1, 2027, giving travelers the first firm booking date for Hyatt's adults-only all-inclusive on Macao Beach in Punta Cana.

That is later than the 2026 debut Hyatt once targeted. For guests shopping next spring, the delay is the practical news: the resort is bookable, the date is fixed, and the product details are clearer than they were when the project was still a vague 2026 promise.

What the 406-suite resort will include

Secrets Macao Beach is planned with 406 suites, including Junior, Master, and Presidential categories, plus 111 swim-out suites and 13 panoramic swim-out suites. Hyatt's current resort materials list about 21 dining and drinking venues, spanning Italian and Asian concepts, local farm-to-table dining, a Dominican chocolateria, and a hidden speakeasy.

The pool plan includes three pools, among them a beachfront infinity pool, plus two outdoor hot tubs. The Secrets Spa is set to add a hydrotherapy circuit and treatment cabins with private outdoor patios. Preferred Club guests get the usual Secrets upgrades: better suites, a dedicated lounge, an exclusive beach area, private dining options, and a rooftop bar.

Why Macao Beach is the guest hook

Macao sits north of the denser Bavaro corridor and still feels more open than the classic Punta Cana strip. The new Secrets will sit beside Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, creating a two-resort Hyatt complex where adults-only and family inventory share one stretch of coast.

That pairing matters if you are traveling with mixed groups. Couples can book Secrets while relatives with kids stay next door at Dreams, without splitting the trip across different beaches. It also extends Hyatt Inclusive Collection growth in the Dominican Republic beyond Miches and La Romana into a surf-favorite shoreline that has stayed less built-up than Bavaro.

How to decide whether to book now

April 1, 2027, is an opening date, not a guarantee that every restaurant and Preferred Club nuance will be fully polished on day one. Soft openings often stage venues. If you want swim-out inventory or Preferred Club specifically, lock the category early and reconfirm amenity timing closer to travel.

If your trip can wait for a settled resort, watch rates through the first summer season. If you want Macao Beach before it fills in with more neighbors, the April booking window is the clearest signal Hyatt has given since the original 2026 target slipped.
