Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will officially join World of Hyatt on March 24, 2026, bringing 22 all-inclusive properties and approximately 12,000 rooms into the loyalty program. The integration follows Hyatt's $465 million acquisition of a stake in Grupo Pinero, finalized in late 2024.

The brand operates resorts across the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, and Tenerife. Hyatt members will earn 5 base points per dollar on room rates, with bonus earning available through the World of Hyatt credit card.

$117 Million in Renovations

Alongside the loyalty integration, Bahia Principe has announced a $117 million investment plan for 2026 targeting major property upgrades:

The Cayo Levantado Resort, a 218-room boutique property on a private island in Samana Bay, will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt — positioning it as the portfolio's premium standalone.

For the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which already includes Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, and Secrets Resorts, the Bahia Principe addition represents the single largest expansion since ALG was acquired. The combined portfolio now offers loyalty travelers one of the widest all-inclusive booking networks in the industry.
