Lopesan Hotel Group, the Spanish hospitality company, has opened three brand-new all-inclusive resorts simultaneously in Punta Cana, adding more than 1,000 rooms to the Dominican Republic's most popular resort corridor.

The trio of properties — Lopesan Splash Cove, Lopesan Caoba Lagoon, and Lopesan Serenity Bay — all welcomed their first guests on May 1, creating what may be the Caribbean's single largest all-inclusive launch of the year.

Three Resorts, Three Audiences

Splash Cove is the family-forward option, featuring 244 rooms with swim-out suites and a full waterpark. Caoba Lagoon is the largest of the three at 552 rooms, built around a dramatic cenote-style lagoon designed for a tropical-immersion feel. Serenity Bay targets couples and honeymooners with 239 adults-only rooms and a quieter, more refined atmosphere.

All three properties share a campus with the existing Lopesan Costa Bavaro complex. Guests at any of the new resorts get access to the Boulevard, an outdoor walkable mall featuring restaurants, entertainment venues, a rum bar, and a bowling alley.

A Bigger Play in the Caribbean

The launch represents a major bet by Lopesan on the Dominican Republic's booming all-inclusive market. Punta Cana continues to attract record visitor numbers, and competition among all-inclusive operators has intensified as brands like Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Vivid, and Secrets double down on new-build properties in the region.

Lopesan is best known in Europe for its resort properties in the Canary Islands. The Punta Cana expansion marks its most aggressive push yet into the Caribbean market.
