A Spanish Hotel Group Just Opened Three Resorts at Once in Punta Cana — Including an Adults-Only Retreat
Lopesan welcomed its first guests to three new Dominican Republic resorts after a 320 million euro expansion.
Lopesan Hotel Group has opened three new all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana at once, its largest Caribbean expansion to date and the result of a roughly 320 million euro investment that adds more than 1,000 rooms.
The trio rises next to the group's existing Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort in the Costa Bavaro area and covers three distinct traveler types. Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino is the largest at 552 rooms, designed around a cenote-style lagoon setting. Lopesan Serenity Bay is a 239-room adults-only retreat aimed at couples and honeymooners. Lopesan Splash Cove brings 244 rooms with swim-out options and waterpark-view accommodations for families.
Tying the complex together is The Boulevard, an open-air promenade shared across all four Lopesan properties on the site, lined with chef-driven restaurants, casual eateries, cocktail bars, and late-night venues. Guests can move between resorts and amenities under a single all-inclusive umbrella.
The launch adds serious room count to a Dominican Republic market that has absorbed a remarkable amount of new all-inclusive inventory this year. Punta Cana in particular keeps drawing megaproject investment, and Lopesan's decision to open three properties simultaneously rather than in phases is a bet that demand for the destination shows no sign of cooling. The resorts are now open for booking.
