Bahia Principe Resorts Will Join World of Hyatt on March 24
Twenty-two all-inclusive properties across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Spain are set to integrate into the Hyatt loyalty program.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will officially join the World of Hyatt loyalty program on March 24, 2026, adding 22 all-inclusive properties to the hotel giant's expanding portfolio. The integration comes through Hyatt's joint venture with Grupo Piñero, the Spanish hospitality company that operates the Bahia Principe brand.
The move gives World of Hyatt members access to resorts in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, and Spain. Members will earn five base points per eligible dollar spent on room rates, with an additional four bonus points available for World of Hyatt credit card holders. Stays will also count toward tier status and Milestone Rewards.
What Guests Can Expect
On the redemption side, award nights at Bahia Principe properties will start at 12,000 points per night during off-peak periods — placing them at Category A, the lowest tier on Hyatt's award chart. The properties will also qualify for the Brand Explorer Award, which gives members a free night after staying at five different Hyatt brands.
The addition of Bahia Principe deepens Hyatt's all-inclusive bench, which already includes more than 100 resorts acquired through the Apple Leisure Group deal in 2021. Brands like Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Secrets Resorts, and Dreams Resorts are already part of the program.
For travelers loyal to the Hyatt ecosystem, this is a significant expansion. Bahia Principe operates several large-scale resort complexes, particularly in Punta Cana and the Riviera Maya, where multi-property campuses let guests move between pools, restaurants, and entertainment options across connected resorts.
