Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts officially joined World of Hyatt on March 24, bringing 22 all-inclusive properties in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, and Spain into one of the hospitality industry's most popular loyalty ecosystems.

The integration means World of Hyatt members can now earn 5 base points per eligible dollar spent on room rates at any participating Bahia Principe property, with credit cardholders picking up an additional 4 bonus points per dollar. Redemptions are available through the standard All-Inclusive Free Night Award chart, slotting Bahia Principe resorts into categories A through F.

The move significantly expands the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which already includes Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara properties. Adding Bahia Principe's 22 resorts nearly doubles the collection's all-inclusive footprint, giving point-conscious travelers access to properties ranging from the family-friendly Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana to the adults-only Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal on Mexico's Riviera Maya to the Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

There's a catch worth noting: members can't redeem points for dining, spa, or incidental charges at Bahia Principe properties, only for room nights. Still, for loyalty collectors who've been waiting for more all-inclusive options, this is one of the biggest single-day additions the program has ever seen.
