Hyatt Just Announced a 650-Room All-Inclusive in Punta Cana — With a Bowling Alley and Water Park
A new Hyatt Ziva resort is coming to Punta Cana with 650 rooms, five pools, and a water park, further expanding Hyatt's Dominican Republic footprint.
Hyatt Inclusive Collection has announced plans for a new Hyatt Ziva resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, set to open in 2029. The 650-room family-friendly all-inclusive will be developed by Codelpa, the same group behind the Secrets Tides Punta Cana, under a management agreement with a Hyatt affiliate.
The resort will feature five specialty restaurants, a buffet with international cuisine, snack bars, and six bars. Guests will have access to five swimming pools — including dedicated adult-only and kids' sections — plus a water park, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, a bowling alley, climbing walls, a ropes course, and fire pits. A full-service spa with sauna and steam rooms rounds out the wellness offerings, while Kids Club and Teen Club programming targets families traveling with children.
The property will also include an adults-only building, a format Hyatt has used at several other Ziva properties like Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana.
Growing Dominican Republic Presence
The announcement deepens Hyatt's already significant footprint in the Dominican Republic, where it currently operates 34 hotels with nearly 17,000 rooms. The addition of Bahia Principe's 22 resorts to the World of Hyatt program earlier this month made the chain one of the largest all-inclusive operators in the country. The new Punta Cana property will sit roughly 40 minutes from the airport, putting it in the heart of the region's resort corridor.
