This Adults-Only Cancun All-Inclusive Just Got a Complete Makeover — With a 23-Seat Speakeasy and a New Zen Spa
Hyatt has completely rebuilt one of its flagship all-inclusive resorts in Cancun's Hotel Zone, with redesigned suites, new dining concepts, and a wellness overhaul.
Hyatt Zilara Cancun, one of the original adults-only all-inclusive resorts in Cancun's Hotel Zone, has completed a sweeping renovation that touches nearly every part of the 310-suite property. The overhaul repositions the resort for a new generation of travelers seeking quieter luxury over mega-resort energy.
The redesigned suites now feature natural woods, woven textures, handcrafted accents, and artwork inspired by the Yucatan Peninsula's mangroves and coastal landscapes. Almost every suite still faces the Caribbean Sea, preserving one of the resort's defining features. The overall aesthetic has shifted toward a warmer, more residential feel — less formal, more grounded in place.
The most dramatic addition is Bokeh, a reservation-only speakeasy that holds just 23 guests at a time. The 1920s-inspired art deco venue operates as a curated 90-minute experience built around cocktails, wine pairings, and live music. Two other new dining concepts round out the changes: Casa Adelita, a 10-seat Yucatecan restaurant with one seating per evening, and Olio D'Olivia, a waterfront Italian spot serving handmade pasta overlooking the sea. All 12 dining venues were refreshed during the renovation.
The new Zen Spa centers the wellness experience around hydrotherapy, holistic treatments, and nature-based therapies. The beach has also been redesigned with expanded shaded sections, upgraded loungers, and a quieter zone for guests seeking more privacy.
The renovation arrives as Cancun's adults-only segment grows increasingly competitive. The Hyatt Inclusive Collection now operates more than 150 all-inclusive resorts and over 55,000 rooms across the Americas and Europe, with brands including Secrets, Dreams, Breathless, and Impression by Secrets. In Cancun alone, Hyatt recently opened Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres and continues preparing for Park Hyatt Riviera Maya.
Rates at the renovated Hyatt Zilara Cancun start around $644 per night for a resort-view room, climbing to roughly $986 for a swim-up suite.
