Royalton will launch a new adults-only sub-brand with the opening of Royalton Vessence Barbados on June 1, 2026. The 220-suite resort on Barbados's Platinum Coast will operate under Marriott's Autograph Collection, making it bookable with Bonvoy points.

The property is designed to feel more urban and social than the typical Caribbean all-inclusive. Standout features include a panoramic rooftop pool with a social lounge, swim-out suites with direct pool access, and an open-air creative studio offering art workshops and cultural programming — a first for the Royalton brand.

Dining covers nine culinary concepts and five bars, while the Diamond Club premium tier offers upgraded suites and exclusive amenities. Moddo Fitness programming provides structured wellness beyond the standard resort gym.

Pricing starts at $678 per night for junior suites, with Diamond Club rooms at $890 and swim-out rooms at $975 — all fully inclusive.

The launch reflects a broader trend of established all-inclusive brands creating upscale, design-forward sub-brands to attract younger travelers and couples who might otherwise book boutique hotels. Vessence joins a growing list of "resort within a resort" concepts, alongside Palladium's TRS tier and Hyatt's Impression by Secrets line. For Barbados, the opening adds another luxury option to a west coast corridor that's becoming one of the Caribbean's densest clusters of premium all-inclusive properties, alongside Sandals Royal Barbados and Crystal Cove.
