Sandals Resorts International is placing its biggest bet yet on family travel. The company has committed $1 billion to expand Beaches Resorts, its family-oriented all-inclusive brand, with three new properties in the pipeline and a major expansion already welcoming guests.

The most ambitious project is a brand-new $500 million Beaches resort in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The property will feature approximately 500 rooms and represents a massive investment in an island destination that has been building its tourism infrastructure. Design work begins this year, with construction expected to follow.

Turks & Caicos Gets Bigger

Meanwhile, Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa — already one of the largest family all-inclusives in the Caribbean — just got even larger. The $150 million Treasure Beach Village added 101 luxury suites to the property in March, bringing what Sandals leadership described as "a level of luxury that will redefine our brand."

The expansion push comes as demand for family-friendly all-inclusive vacations continues to climb. Industry data shows the all-inclusive segment growing faster than the broader hotel market, with families increasingly seeking the predictability and value that bundled pricing offers.

Sandals has historically focused its investment on its couples-only flagship brand, which operates over a dozen adults-only resorts across Jamaica, Barbados, and other Caribbean islands. The $1 billion Beaches commitment signals a strategic pivot, recognizing that the family segment may offer the brand's best growth runway.

With three new properties joining the existing Beaches Negril and Beaches Turks & Caicos, the brand is poised to more than double its footprint within the next several years.
