The All-Inclusive Brand Known for On-Site Concerts and Vegas-Style Shows Is Finally Coming to Mexico
Rixos Hotels is making its Americas debut with a 345-room all-inclusive in Cancun's Hotel Zone, bringing its entertainment-heavy format to a new continent.
Rixos Hotels, the Turkish-born all-inclusive brand known for blending luxury with large-scale entertainment, is about to make its biggest geographic leap yet. The company is opening its first-ever resort in the Americas: a 345-room all-inclusive on Cancun's Hotel Zone, set to debut in late 2026.
The property, called Rixos Cancún, will take over the footprint of the Grand Park Royal Cancún on the beachfront strip. It will feature multiple dining venues, a spa, dedicated kids' and teens' facilities, and a full slate of sports and fitness programming. But it's the entertainment piece that sets Rixos apart from what most travelers associate with Mexico's all-inclusive scene.
Not Your Typical All-Inclusive
Rixos built its reputation in Turkey, Egypt, and the UAE by treating entertainment as a core part of the all-inclusive product — not an afterthought. Its flagship properties regularly host international DJs, full-scale concerts, theatrical productions, and festival-style events on site. Think less pool bar playlist, more multi-stage production with professional performers.
The move to the Americas is part of a broader expansion by Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality company backed by Accor. Alongside the Cancun opening, Ennismore is also rebranding Grand Park Royal properties in Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta under the Rixos flag, giving the brand three Mexican beachheads by the time the rollout is complete.
For a market like Cancun, which already hosts dozens of established all-inclusive brands, Rixos could shake up the competitive landscape. The brand's entertainment-forward formula is something no major operator in the region currently offers at this scale, and it gives travelers a genuinely different kind of all-inclusive experience to consider.
