Two of Hyatt's Most Upscale Brands Are Going All-Inclusive for the First Time — and Both Landed in Mexico
Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt are stepping into all-inclusive territory with two new Mexican resorts opening before year's end.
Hyatt and its development partner shared new details on two Mexican resorts that will do something neither brand has done before: operate as all-inclusive. Park Hyatt Riviera Maya and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos are both scheduled to open in the second half of 2026, extending the all-inclusive model into the top of Hyatt's portfolio.
The headline is Park Hyatt. Known for restrained, ultra-luxury city and resort hotels, the brand has never run an all-inclusive anywhere in the world. Park Hyatt Riviera Maya changes that, taking shape on a secluded stretch of coast between Cancun and Puerto Morelos and aiming to redefine what luxury looks like when the dining and drinks are already covered. It is set to open by the end of the year in the heart of the Riviera Maya.
On the Pacific side, Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa will anchor the Oleada oceanfront community in Cabo San Lucas, pairing bold Baja-inspired architecture with the large-scale pools, dining, and group-gathering space the Grand Hyatt name implies. It brings a full-service all-inclusive to Los Cabos, a destination long dominated by European-plan luxury hotels rather than all-in resorts.
Both openings feed a strategy Hyatt has pursued aggressively through its Inclusive Collection, which has grown into one of the largest all-inclusive platforms in Mexico and the Caribbean. Pushing Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt into the category signals that the company sees room at the very top of the market, where travelers who once viewed all-inclusive as a mid-tier product are now being courted with butler service, chef-driven menus, and premium pours.
For Mexico, the timing reinforces a banner year for luxury openings, with several global brands racing to plant all-inclusive flags on both coasts before the winter season.
