Park Hyatt Riviera Maya Opens Dec. 3 With Butler Service for Every Guest
Hyatt's first Park Hyatt all-inclusive will open December 3 between Cancun and Puerto Morelos with 148 ocean-view rooms, a la carte dining, and included butler service.
Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is set to open on December 3, 2026, as the first all-inclusive resort under Hyatt's Park Hyatt brand, on a secluded stretch of the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Puerto Morelos.
General manager Sam Kirby told LATTE Luxury News the brief was to remove the usual European-plan and all-inclusive friction points. Every guest receives butler service, every room is ocean view, locally inspired experiences come with the rate, and airport transfers and laundry are included. Dining is entirely a la carte across seven venues, with no check to sign after meals.
The 148 guestrooms and suites sit inside the AMAI coastal enclave, reached through mangrove landscape. Select categories add private pools or plunge pools, and a 2,300-square-foot penthouse tops the inventory. Culinary leadership is under Chef Jesus Sanchez, with Mexican cuisine and seafood at the center and a sommelier-led wine list of roughly 25 to 30 labels.
Other facilities include a beachfront pool with private cabanas, an open-air spa garden, and preferred access to El Tinto Golf Course. Dogs up to 22 pounds are welcome for a daily fee, with in-room beds, bowls, and toys provided.
The December debut matters for luxury all-inclusive shoppers because Park Hyatt is translating residential-service cues into an inclusive rate instead of launching another points-heavy mega-resort. If the model works in the Mexican Caribbean, Hyatt executives have left the door open to copying it in other leisure markets where the brand fit is clear.
