Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Secures Fresh Financing After Its Earlier Makeover
Grand Hyatt Indian Wells secures $210 million in refinancing after its earlier renovation. The transaction adds no announced guest charges or new opening date.
Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas has secured $210 million in refinancing, according to an October 14 announcement from JLL. Citi supplied the five-year, floating-rate loan for owner Trinity Investments, with JLL arranging the transaction.
The 531-accommodation Coachella Valley property has already undergone its renovation and conversion to the Grand Hyatt flag. This week’s news concerns the resort’s financing; it does not announce a new reopening or another construction phase.
What does the transaction change for a guest?
No new guest charge or rate-plan change was announced as part of the financing. A loan total should not be read as a holiday discount, a promise of new facilities or evidence that loyalty award prices have changed.
For travelers comparing the resort, the practical attractions remain its rooms, suites and villas, water park with a lazy river and slides, and Agua Serena Spa. Families can compare shared accommodation against separate rooms, while travelers seeking quieter pool time should check the adults-only Oasis Pool arrangements.
What belongs in the booking comparison?
Price the selected dates with the current resort fee, parking, dining and any cabana or spa bookings. Check cancellation terms and room occupancy before committing. Those details determine the cost of the stay more directly than the financing headline.
