Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Sets Dec. 10 Opening With 14 Dining Concepts
Hyatt's 500-room Puerto Cancun all-inclusive will add private-pool suites, nine pools, a beach club, and nearly 30,000 square feet of meetings space.
Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach is scheduled to open Dec. 10, 2026, as a 500-room oceanfront all-inclusive in Puerto Cancun, marking the Grand Hyatt brand's first hotel in Cancun and a fully all-inclusive debut for the flag in the destination. Hyatt's Sept. 15 newsroom release and trade coverage put the property in the gated marina community between downtown and the Hotel Zone, about 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

Rooms, Grand Club, and the Puerto Cancun site
Inventory includes 47 suites. Every room gets a private terrace with Caribbean Sea or marina views. Select suites add private pools. Grand Club rooms unlock the private lounge with continental breakfast, afternoon cocktails, and extra services.
Puerto Cancun is the placement story: marina access, golf, shopping, and residences in a private waterfront district, with yacht and sailing trips leaving nearby and resort-arranged outings to reefs, cenotes, and archaeological sites. Named outlets include Quattro (Northern Italian), Fiera San (sushi and omakase), Kaab (international breakfast, buffet, and lunch), Bistrot Cigalette (French, chef Thierry Blouet), plus Argentine and Uruguayan-inspired Chacho and Los Fuegos del Sur. Additional concepts include Mona Limona, Leonora's Boulevardier Bar & Terraza, Saká Pool Bar, Grand Café & Market, Fiera Tacos, and Paradiso.
Nine outdoor pools span multiple levels, including adults-only and infinity options plus the beach club pool. Water sports cover snorkeling, diving, kayaking, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Families get a Grand Kids Club. Ritua Sanctuary Spa adds outdoor relaxation, a traditional temazcal, hammock lounges, a fitness center, and treatments Hyatt says will introduce new wellness options to Cancun's all-inclusive set.
Meetings space and how it fits Hyatt's Cancun map
Indoor event space runs about 30,000 square feet on a single level, with a ballroom that can split into eight sections, two breakout rooms, and a boardroom, plus terraces, beach, and poolside venues. That scale targets weddings, incentives, and larger groups that often outgrow smaller lifestyle AIs.
The Dec. 10 date lands in a dense Cancun Hyatt year: renovated Hyatt Zilara Cancun is already back with redesigned suites and a deep dining slate, while Secrets Mirabel added swim-outs and plunge-pool suites in the Hotel Zone. Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach is the marina-scale option. Hyatt also notes the Cancun open comes just 12 days after the planned Nov. 28 debut of Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort and Spa, giving the brand two major regional openings in a short window.
