A Famous Outdoor Brand Just Opened Its First-Ever Resort — Near Two of America's Most Spectacular National Parks
Travel + Leisure Co. has launched the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club with a 39-suite property in Moab, Utah, near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
Eddie Bauer, the century-old outdoor apparel company, has officially entered the hospitality business. Travel + Leisure Co. launched the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club this month with a 39-suite resort in Moab, Utah — steps from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
Created in partnership with Authentic Brands Group, which owns Eddie Bauer, the Adventure Club marks the apparel brand’s first foray into lodging. The property features studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts with kitchenettes or full kitchens, in-unit laundry, and spacious living areas designed to reflect what Travel + Leisure calls Eddie Bauer’s “rugged yet refined sensibility.”
Guests can take advantage of guided hiking, mountain biking, and river rafting excursions across the surrounding red rock landscape. The concept leans into a growing traveler preference for immersive, nature-based experiences over traditional resort stays.
The Moab property is the first of what Travel + Leisure plans to be a broader portfolio of outdoor-focused destinations. CEO Michael Brown called it an exciting evolution for the company, which already operates vacation ownership brands including Sports Illustrated Resorts and Margaritaville Vacation Club.
The launch adds to a rapidly expanding outdoor hospitality segment. Marriott debuted its Outdoor Collection brand in 2025, while Hilton partnered with AutoCamp for glamping stays near national parks. Hyatt teamed up with Under Canvas for upscale outdoor lodging, and BWH Hotels recently launched its Backdrop glamping brand. For travelers who want adventure without sacrificing comfort, options are multiplying fast.
