This Punta Cana All-Inclusive Just Added 16 Bungalows With Private Plunge Pools — On a Beach Few Have Walked

The Zemi Miches Punta Cana, a Curio Collection resort under Hilton's all-inclusive umbrella, has debuted 16 oceanfront bungalows on Playa Esmeralda, a quiet golden-sand shoreline on the north coast of the Dominican Republic that most travelers have never set foot on.
The bungalows come in Studio Suite and Two-Bedroom layouts, each with ocean views, a private plunge pool, an oversized soaking tub, and direct access to the beach. Every booking automatically unlocks the resort's Club Azure tier, so bungalow guests get private check-in and check-out, exclusive dining venues, 24-hour room service, curated cultural experiences, and a complimentary 50-minute massage per adult per stay.
The addition deepens an already sizable property. The Punta Cana-area resort spans roughly 500 rooms, suites, and now bungalows, with seven restaurants and eight bars, plus a 1,470-square-foot rooftop infinity pool reserved for Club Azure guests. Bungalow buyers are effectively getting the resort's most private real estate paired with its most premium service level.
The move fits a broader pattern across the Caribbean's all-inclusive market, where operators are chasing higher-spending travelers with butler-serviced, small-inventory "resort-within-a-resort" products rather than simply adding room count. On a beach as underused as Playa Esmeralda, exclusivity is the selling point — and 16 keys is a deliberately short supply.
