Hyatt Plans Adults-Only Secrets Macao Beach Resort in Punta Cana for 2026
The 406-room all-inclusive resort will feature swim-out suites, nine restaurants, and a rooftop pool on the Dominican Republic's Macao Beach.
Secrets Resorts & Spas is bringing a new adults-only property to Punta Cana, with Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana set to open later this year. The 406-room resort will sit on Macao Beach, one of the Dominican Republic's most popular stretches of sand, directly adjacent to the existing Dreams Macao Beach property.
The resort will operate under Hyatt's Unlimited-Luxury model, which covers all meals, top-shelf spirits, 24-hour room service, and nightly entertainment. Room configurations include 111 swim-out suites and 13 elevated suites with private swim-out access — a premium tier that has become a selling point across the Secrets brand.
Dining and Amenities
Nine restaurants are planned, ranging from international buffet to specialty venues. A farm-to-table concept set in an on-site organic garden is among the standout options. Nine bars will complement the dining lineup, including a sports bar with full-service dining and a cigar lounge.
Other amenities include three pools, a convention center with capacity for up to 1,000 guests, and a Preferred Club level that unlocks an exclusive dining venue and a rooftop pool with ocean views. Guests at Secrets Macao Beach will also have exchange privileges at the neighboring Dreams property, effectively doubling the available restaurants and facilities.
Secrets Macao Beach joins a growing list of Hyatt all-inclusive openings in the Dominican Republic, where the company has been steadily building density through its Apple Leisure Group brands. The resort strengthens Punta Cana's position as the Caribbean's most competitive all-inclusive market.
