Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will officially join the World of Hyatt loyalty program on March 24, 2026, bringing 22 all-inclusive properties into one of the travel industry's most valuable points currencies.

The integration adds resorts across the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Tenerife, and mainland Spain to the Hyatt Inclusive Collection umbrella. Members will earn 5 base points per eligible dollar spent on room rates, with Hyatt credit cardholders picking up an additional 4 bonus points per dollar.

Free night awards will start at 12,000 points during off-peak dates, making several Bahia Principe properties among the most affordable all-inclusive redemptions in the Hyatt portfolio. Elite members also get late checkout and room upgrade benefits, subject to availability.

The move effectively ends Bahia Principe's standalone My Bahia Principe loyalty program. Guests checking out on or after March 24 will automatically earn World of Hyatt points instead.

Why It Matters

Hyatt has been aggressively expanding its all-inclusive footprint since acquiring Apple Leisure Group, which brought over 100 resorts into the program. Adding Bahia Principe deepens coverage in key Caribbean and European markets, with popular properties like Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana and Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica now bookable with points.

For travelers already collecting Hyatt points through credit card spend or hotel stays, this is a significant expansion of where those points can go — particularly for families and couples looking at all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean.
