The daily activity program is one of Vivid Grand Island's genuine differentiators from other adults-only properties in Cancun. The schedule covers water sports at the beach club, fitness classes (yoga, HIIT, aqua cycling, Tabata, boxing), evening entertainment (live music, DJ sets, nightly shows), and creative workshops (pottery, macrame, cacao ceremonies, sip-and-paint, cooking classes, Spanish lessons, rum and tequila tastings). Most activities are walk-in; some workshops have capacity limits and benefit from signing up with the activities desk in the morning. Non-motorized water sports at the beach club are included in the all-inclusive rate.
One of two pools available to all guests on the main resort deck. Hosts scheduled activities including water aerobics and water volleyball. Open until midnight — one of the few pools at the property with late-night hours. Reasonably sized for a 400-suite resort; expect it to be busy from late morning through late afternoon.
Second main pool with the Seafoam swim-up bar built in. The swim-up bar position means this pool gets busier mid-afternoon when guests congregate for drinks. Good for social guests; quieter pool seekers may prefer Pool 1. Hosts activity programming as well.
The resort's signature feature at 295 feet — claimed as Cancun's longest rooftop pool. Access is restricted to Vantage Club guests. Closes at 6:30 PM. The Cobalt bar adjacent to it is open to all resort guests (noon to 4 PM) but the pool itself is not. The 360-degree Hotel Zone views are the best vantage point on the property.
On-site hot tub accessible to all guests. Good for evening use after the pools close down or after a day of physical activity. Location is near the main pool deck.
Part of the tiered pool deck at the Ennea Beach Club. Accessible to all guests who make the shuttle trip to the beach club. Surrounded by the beach club's boho-chic design — loungers, Bali beds, and beverage service nearby.
Second pool at the beach club, also on the tiered deck. More intimate than the main resort pools. Guests who spend full days at the beach club tend to migrate between this pool, Pool 1, and the beach itself. Beverage service is available here.
Playa Delfines is one of Cancun's wider public beaches with generally good sand and clear water — it's a legitimate beach, not a narrow resort strip. The resort's private section is set up with loungers, Bali beds, umbrella coverage, and a snack bar. Complimentary shuttle runs every 15 to 20 minutes from 9 AM to 6 PM. Beach closes at 6 PM — there is no evening beach access. Seaweed (sargassum) can be an issue between April and August on the Cancun coast, which affects all Hotel Zone beaches to varying degrees. Wave action is moderate and generally swimmable. Non-motorized water sports (snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding) are operated from this beach, included in your rate.
Non-motorized water sport offered at the Ennea Beach Club, included in the all-inclusive rate. Equipment is provided. Playa Delfines has a sandy bottom and moderate conditions — reasonable for beginners.
Available at the Ennea Beach Club, included. Single and tandem kayaks depending on availability. A calm-water option given the beach club's protected position.
Stand-up paddleboarding at the beach club, included in the rate. Calmer bay-adjacent water makes this accessible for first-timers.
Yoga class conducted on paddleboards at the beach club. One of the more unusual offerings and worth trying once — expect to fall in. Check the daily schedule with the activities desk.
Canoes and rowing boats available at the beach club, included. A low-key option for guests who want water time without the physical demand of kayaking or paddleboarding.
On-site courts available for use. Bring your own rackets or ask the activities desk about equipment loans — availability varies.
Dedicated pickleball courts on-site. One of the more in-demand court sports at the property — go early or sign up with the activities desk to reserve a slot.
Standard beach and pool volleyball available during daytime. Glow volleyball sessions are a scheduled evening event — check the nightly entertainment board for timing.
Organized pickup games or individual use of a football pitch on the property. Check with the activities desk for scheduled team games.
Scheduled daily classes, both poolside and in the dedicated yoga room. Morning sessions are the most popular — check timing at the activities desk on arrival. Included in the rate.
Water-based fitness classes held in the main pools on a scheduled basis. High energy, good for guests who want a workout without a gym. Aqua cycling has fixed bike equipment in the pool — a genuine workout.
High-intensity interval training sessions, typically morning or early afternoon. Not for casual participants — these are structured workout classes.
Scheduled group boxing and jump-rope fitness classes. More intense than the yoga and aqua classes. Good for guests who want to maintain a real training routine on vacation.
Professional entertainment shows staged nightly — genre and format rotate through the week. Quality varies by show; the entertainment team is generally well-reviewed in guest feedback.
Live music at the Bloom lobby bar and at select restaurants during dinner hours. Frequency and genre depend on the nightly schedule — check the resort app or the activities board.
DJ sessions at the rooftop around sunset and late-night sessions at the main entertainment area. The sunset DJ set on the rooftop is a highlight for guests who can access it — Vantage Club guests have full access; others can attend the bar area.
Themed evening parties and golden hour celebrations are scheduled weekly. Check the entertainment calendar on arrival for specific nights.
Periodic runway-style shows as evening entertainment. Light and fun rather than formal — part of the resort's broader cultural programming.
Hands-on workshops with the resort's culinary staff. Popular enough that they fill up — sign up with the activities desk in the morning. A practical and enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
Expert-led tasting sessions covering regional spirits. Usually held in the early evening. Check the activities board for schedule. A good entry point into Mexican spirits if you're unfamiliar.
Mixology instruction from the bar team. You drink what you make, which keeps participation high. Capacity is limited — sign up early in the day.
Basic conversational Spanish classes, usually held in a group setting. Light, tourist-focused vocabulary rather than structured language instruction. Free and included.
Pottery, macrame, and bracelet-making workshops offered on a rotating schedule. These sell out — check the daily activity board first thing in the morning and sign up immediately if interested.
Ceremonial cacao sessions drawing on Mayan tradition. Usually held in the morning in a quieter area of the resort. A calmer alternative to the fitness and water sport programming.
Group art sessions with beverages included. Low-key and social — one of the easier activities to drop into without prior sign-up.
Individual tarot readings offered on a scheduled or drop-in basis. A light novelty activity; availability varies by week.
Access to a nearby 18-hole course, at additional cost. Not on the resort property — arrange through the concierge. Green fees are not included in the all-inclusive rate.
Organized off-property tours to Mayan ruins (Chichen Itza, Tulum), cenotes, underground rivers, and coastal boat trips. Booked through the concierge at additional cost. The cenote tours are consistently the highest-rated excursion option among guests.
Organized or self-arranged trips to El Centro (downtown Cancun) for local markets, street food, and non-resort dining. Worth half a day if you want to see the city beyond the Hotel Zone.
