This All-Suite All-Inclusive in Barbados Is Reopening Next Week — With Five Restaurants and One of the Island Best Locations
Turtle Beach, a Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort, reopens May 14 on Barbados south coast with all-suite rooms and walkable access to St. Lawrence Gap.
Turtle Beach, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort is set to reopen on May 14, bringing back an all-suite, all-inclusive resort on the island south coast. The property sits directly on Dover Beach, steps from St. Lawrence Gap, one of Barbados most active dining and nightlife strips.
The reopening marks the second Marriott All-Inclusive relaunch in Barbados this year, following the return of Crystal Cove earlier in 2026. Marriott has been steadily rebuilding its all-inclusive presence on the island after repositioning several former Elegant Hotels properties within its portfolio.
All Suites, All the Time
Every room at Turtle Beach is a suite, with a separate living area, balcony or terrace, and views of the gardens or ocean. Categories range from garden view to oceanfront, and connecting rooms are available for families. Rates start at around $419 per night for a garden-view junior suite, with ocean-view rooms from $467.
The property features five restaurants covering different cuisines and settings, from the open-air Chelonia for themed dinners to Asiagos for Italian and Sand Trap for Caribbean-Mediterranean dishes. A coffee bar and ice cream parlor round out the daytime options.
A Growing All-Inclusive Scene
Turtle Beach joins what has become one of the Caribbean most competitive all-inclusive markets. Barbados now offers a range of options that includes Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados for couples, The House for adults-only boutique stays, Tamarind as a beachfront family option, and The Club Barbados for a more social atmosphere.
What sets Turtle Beach apart is its walkability. Few all-inclusive resorts anywhere in the Caribbean put you within a short stroll of a neighborhood with independent restaurants, live music venues, and bars. That combination of resort convenience and local access is rare.
The property is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, which means guests can earn and redeem points on their stay. For travelers who collect hotel loyalty points, it adds another strong option in a destination that keeps getting harder to overlook.
