A Familiar Jamaica All-Inclusive Is Vanishing in November — and Returning as Something More Exclusive
Ocean Eden Bay will be rebranded into a luxury adults-only collection this fall, part of a wider winter overhaul across the group's Caribbean and Mexico resorts.
One of Jamaica's established adults-only resorts is about to change names. On Nov. 1, Ocean Eden Bay, the beachfront property in Coral Spring, Trelawny, will become Ocean Allure Eden Bay, entering the group's higher-end adults-only collection.
The move gives the Ocean Allure brand its second resort and its first in the Caribbean, following Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres in Mexico. Owner Ocean by H10 Hotels is positioning Ocean Allure around couples seeking privacy, elevated service, and more upscale rooms, dropping it into one of the Caribbean's most crowded adults-only markets alongside the resort corridors of Montego Bay and Negril.
"Our strategy goes far beyond hotel renovations; we are strengthening a portfolio with clearly differentiated brands," said Markus Haack, senior commercial vice president of the group, describing Ocean Allure as its luxury adults-only collection.
The Jamaica rebrand is the headline, but it is part of a broader winter overhaul. On Nov. 19, Ocean Coral & Turquesa in Puerto Morelos becomes Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún, with renovated rooms, updated dining, and a redesigned premium section. Along the Riviera Maya, Ocean Maya Royale is adding 12 private-pool suites and a new Elegance room category, while Ocean Riviera Paradise expands its fitness center and adds private pools to its top suites.
In Punta Cana, Ocean Blue & Sand is introducing swim-up rooms ahead of a larger 2027 project. Taken together, the changes lean hard into the two features driving Caribbean bookings right now: private pools and adults-only luxury.
