A Massive New Adults-Only Resort Just Opened North of Cancun — With Nearly 600 Suites and a Wave Pool

Ocean by H10 Hotels has opened Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, a 599-suite adults-only all-inclusive resort on the rapidly developing Costa Mujeres stretch north of Cancun.

The property is the flagship of the brand's adults-only collection and represents one of the largest new-build resort openings in Mexico this year. Every room is a suite with ocean-inspired decor and private terraces, and the resort sits directly on a white-sand beach with turquoise water access.

Pools, Dining, and More Pools

The resort features four pools, including two rooftop infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean, a wave pool, and a lazy river. Eight restaurants cover a wide range — Italian, Japanese, French, steakhouse, and Mexican among them — alongside eight bars spread across the property.

Beyond the water features, Ocean Allure includes a full-service spa, a bowling alley, a theater, two pickleball courts, tennis courts, a game room, and a 24-hour fitness center. There's also dedicated meeting and event space for groups.

Costa Mujeres has emerged as one of Mexico's fastest-growing resort corridors, attracting major brands looking for beachfront land that's increasingly scarce in Cancun's Hotel Zone. Ocean Allure joins a growing roster of upscale properties in the area, competing directly with nearby all-inclusives from Hyatt, Hilton, and other international operators.
