Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres opened at the end of 2025 as one of the newest large adults-only all-inclusives in the Cancun region, occupying a Costa Mujeres beachfront position on the calmer northern stretch of the Hotel Zone coastline. At 599 rooms and built from scratch, it has no renovation history to speak of — every room, restaurant, and facility is current-generation construction with contemporary ocean-inspired design.
The physical differentiators are in the water: a wave pool, a lazy river, a FlowRider surf simulator, five outdoor pools, and two Privilege rooftop infinity pools with panoramic ocean views. For adults who want a pool experience that goes beyond a chlorinated rectangle, this is one of the more distinctive setups among Cancun all-inclusives. The beach faces the channel between Costa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres, which means calmer water than the open Caribbean coast — the beach is described as sheltered and swimmable.
Eight restaurants cover the dining range. Bluemoon (French, dinner) and Sakura Teppanyaki (Japanese, dinner) are the most distinctive and require advance reservations — teppanyaki seating is limited and fills daily. La Locanda covers Italian, Steak House covers beef, Margarita handles Mexican, and Pez Dama offers beachside seafood and tacos at lunch. Corales Buffet handles breakfast and lunch for most guests. The Privilege tier unlocks a dedicated gourmet restaurant for all three meals, priority reservations, butler service, and exclusive rooftop bar access — guests who have experienced both consistently report the upgrade is meaningful at this property.
The honest limitation is the age: being brand-new, the resort carries some uncertainty. Multiple guest reports note inconsistency in the specialty restaurants — dishes arriving lukewarm, overcooked, or undercooked, which is common at newly opened large properties during the operational ramp-up period. The breakfast buffet at Corales receives strong reviews; dinner at the specialty venues is more variable. Premium wines and certain dishes cost extra at à la carte restaurants even on the standard all-inclusive rate.
