Ocean Eden Bay opened in late 2021 or January 2022 as the adults-only counterpart to Ocean Coral Spring, the family resort on the same Trelawny beach. At 444 rooms, Eden Bay operates as a distinct adults-only (18+) property with its own restaurants, pools, beach section, and spa — but the most important feature of the product is the full cross-access agreement: Eden Bay guests can use all facilities at Ocean Coral Spring, including its 10 restaurants, water park, lazy river, bowling alley, and teen/kids clubs. In practice, this gives Eden Bay guests access to a 957-room resort's worth of dining and activity options while maintaining an adults-only base.
The standout on-property dining experience is the Senses Dinner Show, a weekly themed dinner-show format that pairs an international gourmet menu with theatrical performances. This is not a standard buffet with entertainment — it's a dinner-theater format with advance reservations required. For guests who prefer their resort evenings to involve more than a restaurant and a pool bar, this fills a genuine gap.
On-property, Eden Bay has 6 restaurants and 4 bars of its own. Bluemoon covers breakfast and dinner with international cuisine. Steak House (dinner, reservations required) handles premium beef. The Privilege Restaurant and Lounge serves all three meals exclusively for Privilege guests. The main buffet covers daily needs. Cross-resort access expands this to 21 combined dining venues including Coral Spring's La Locanda (Italian), Sakura (teppanyaki), Sugar Cane (Jamaican), Thali (Indian), and Route 66 (American).
The honest limitation is the beach. Guest reviews note the beach at this Trelawny location is intimate in size, limiting long walks. Some sections are rocky. The water is generally calm in the bay areas. The combined resort experience is strongest if guests are willing to move between properties — guests who want to stay entirely within Eden Bay will find a more limited on-property footprint than a standalone 444-room resort would suggest.
