Miraval, the luxury wellness brand owned by Hyatt Inclusive Collection, has opened its first property outside the United States. Miraval The Red Sea welcomed its first guests on March 30 on Shura Island in Saudi Arabia, marking a major expansion for a brand that had previously operated only in Arizona, Austin, and the Berkshires.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort spans three million square feet along the Red Sea coast and offers 180 rooms, suites, and villas. Architecture firm Foster + Partners designed the property, with interiors by Rockwell Group, giving the resort a minimalist desert-meets-ocean aesthetic that sets it apart from Miraval's American locations.

A Massive Spa Operation

At the center of the resort sits the Life in Balance Spa, a 3,000-square-meter facility with 39 treatment rooms, vitality pools, hammams, salt rooms, and sensory showers. Miraval says it is the largest spa on Shura Island. The wellness programming draws on both Miraval's signature mindfulness approach and local healing traditions.

Beyond the spa, guests have access to multiple pools, a fitness center, yoga studios, and curated outdoor experiences along the coastline. The programming model follows the same all-inclusive format used at Miraval's U.S. properties, where nightly rates cover accommodations, meals, and a daily credit toward spa treatments and activities.

The opening comes as Hyatt continues to push its luxury and all-inclusive brands into new markets. The company's Inclusive Collection now spans more than 150 resorts and 55,000 rooms globally, following its $2.6 billion acquisition of Playa Hotels in 2025 and a joint venture with Grupo Pinero's Bahia Principe portfolio.
