Miraval The Red Sea is open on Shura Island as the first Miraval resort outside the United States, moving the Hyatt Luxury Portfolio wellness brand onto Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.

Red Sea Global and Hyatt opening coverage place the adults-only debut in mid-May 2026. The resort has 180 guestrooms, suites, and villas set among lagoons and mangroves, with architecture and interiors by Foster + Partners and Rockwell Group. Guests typically transfer 25 to 30 minutes by electric vehicle from Red Sea International Airport.

Programming centers on dedicated Experience Planners who build personalised wellbeing itineraries around mindfulness, movement, culture, and outdoor adventure. Hyatt materials name Arabic calligraphy, heritage storytelling, perfume blending, desert stargazing, mangrove kayaking, paddleboarding, and a central labyrinth for walking meditation.

The Life in Balance Spa spans about 40,000 square feet with 39 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, making it the largest dedicated spa on Shura Island. Dining follows the same wellness brief: plant-forward cooking at Rosemary, lighter all-day plates at Palm Court Café, coastal-to-evening sharing at Coral Cove, and workshops at the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen.

For guests comparing Red Sea wellness launches, Miraval's international debut is less about buffet all-inclusive scale and more about planner-led stillness inside a regenerative island project. It sits alongside the wider Shura Island resort cluster and Shura Links golf course rather than operating as a standalone city hotel.
