Hyatt Zilara Cancun, the adults-only all-inclusive on Cancun's hotel zone beachfront, officially reopened on May 1 following a full-property renovation that kept the resort shuttered since April 2025.

The overhaul touched every corner of the 310-suite property. Guest rooms now feature natural textures, sun-warmed tones, and locally sourced artwork — a deliberate nod to the Yucatan Peninsula's landscape and craft traditions. Every suite faces the Caribbean Sea, and layouts have been reworked to feel more spacious and light-filled than before.

All 12 of the resort's dining venues received new designs and menus. The standout addition is Bokeh, a 23-seat speakeasy tucked away behind a reservation-only entrance. The bar channels 1920s glamour with fine cocktails, a curated wine list, and live music most evenings. It is the kind of detail that signals Hyatt Zilara is pushing upmarket, not just refreshing paint and furniture.

The resort's Zen Spa also got a significant upgrade, adding hydrotherapy circuits and new wellness programming designed around restoration and local healing traditions.

The reopening comes at a busy moment for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which has been aggressively expanding and renovating across Mexico and the Caribbean. Its sister property, Hyatt Ziva Cancun, sits just down the beach and caters to families, giving Hyatt a two-property foothold in one of the region's most competitive corridors.

Rates at the refreshed Hyatt Zilara Cancun start in the mid-$400s per night and include all meals, drinks, and resort activities. World of Hyatt members can book award stays using points.
