A major new luxury resort is headed to Cancun. Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is now accepting reservations for stays beginning November 17, bringing a new-build beachfront property to Puerto Cancun, the mixed-use waterfront district between downtown Cancun and the Hotel Zone.

The resort occupies a stretch of white-sand Caribbean beachfront and will launch with 12 dining concepts, anchored by Quattro, an Italian restaurant focused on handmade pasta and Northern Italian cuisine. The full restaurant and bar lineup has not been released, but the scale of the food-and-beverage program places it among the largest in Cancun's luxury segment.

Among the headline features are the property's Sanctuary rooms and suites, which include private in-room pools. The resort also offers more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space on a single level, positioning it as both a leisure destination and a conference property.

Additional amenities include a Grand Hyatt Spa, fitness center, multiple pools, beach facilities, and Camp Hyatt, the brand's supervised children's program. The property also offers valet parking, EV charging stations, and concierge services.

Puerto Cancun has emerged as one of the most active luxury development corridors in Mexico's Caribbean coast, anchored by Marina Puerto Cancun and a growing collection of high-end residential and hospitality projects. The location puts guests close to Isla Mujeres, the Cancun Underwater Museum, and the broader Riviera Maya corridor.

The Hyatt brand already operates several properties in the region, including Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun. Lead-in rates start around $243 per night for Hyatt members.
