This 500-Room Cancun All-Inclusive Opens Next Week — With 14 Restaurants and a Celebrity Chef Lineup
Grand Hyatt's first all-inclusive in Cancun opens September 8 in the gated Puerto Cancun community, with 14 dining venues, nine pools and private-pool suites.
Cancun's newest luxury all-inclusive opens its doors on September 8. The 500-room Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort sits in Puerto Cancun, a gated marina community on the northern edge of the hotel zone, and it is already taking reservations.
The resort leans into a "gourmet all-inclusive" concept with 14 restaurants, bars and mixology lounges. The dining lineup is built around name chefs: French cuisine from Thierry Blouet, elevated Mexican street food from Javier Plascencia, plus Northern Italian, charcoal-grilled steak and an omakase sushi bar. That is an unusually deep bench for an all-inclusive, where buffets and a handful of a la carte venues are the norm.
Beyond the food, the property counts nine swimming pools, a wellness spa and more than 30,000 square feet of event space. Rooms and suites face the Caribbean, and the top categories come with private pools.
The opening adds the Grand Hyatt name to a growing Hyatt all-inclusive presence in the region. The company already operates several Cancun-area resorts through its Inclusive Collection, including Hyatt Ziva Cancun, and stays here earn World of Hyatt points and elite credit.
Puerto Cancun is a deliberate choice. The residential-style enclave is quieter than the main strip and puts guests next to a golf course and marina, positioning the resort for travelers who want a beachfront all-inclusive without the spring-break energy of the central hotel zone.
