Divi Aruba All Inclusive operates on Druif Beach on the southwestern coast, about 5 miles from Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) — a 9 to 30-minute drive depending on traffic. The property began as the Divi-Divi Beach Hotel in 1969 and has been updating incrementally since, most recently with 44 renovated rooms completed in August 2024. The low-rise layout across 203 rooms keeps the property from feeling crowded, which is one of its strongest selling points compared to the high-rise towers that dominate Aruba's main hotel strip.
The all-inclusive rate unlocks both Divi Aruba and its adjacent sister property, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive. That means 11 restaurants and 8 bars across the two properties rather than just the 6 on Divi's own grounds — a meaningful advantage. The combined program covers all meals, unlimited beverages, non-motorized water sports, and daily activities. A free shuttle connects the two properties.
Druif Beach is where this resort wins most directly. It's softer, wider, and less trafficked than Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. The water is calm and clear, and snorkeling directly off the shore is productive. Tamarijn's beach section, by contrast, is noticeably rockier — stick to Divi's end if sand quality matters.
The honest limitation here is the rooms. Even the renovated units have been described as 'just okay' rather than polished. Guests in the Vista 1 building have specifically flagged noise from evening entertainment. The resort is also on the expensive side for what it delivers compared to newer Aruba all-inclusives.
Practical details: 203 rooms across one- to four-story buildings; 407–439 sq ft standard rooms; all have Nespresso machines and Nespresso pod refills; maximum occupancy 4 per room. Aruba's high season is December through April; the island is outside the hurricane belt, making it a reliable year-round destination.
