Lopesan Hotel Group is about to dramatically expand its footprint in Punta Cana with three new all-inclusive resorts, all opening spring 2026. The roughly €320 million ($350 million) investment adds over 1,000 rooms to the company's existing Lopesan Costa Bávaro complex in the Bávaro district of the Dominican Republic.

The three properties each target a different traveler. Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino is the centerpiece, built around cenote-inspired pools and landscaped lagoons with a 16,000-square-foot spa featuring 31 treatment rooms. Lopesan Serenity Bay offers a 239-room adults-only retreat for couples. And Lopesan Splash Cove, with 244 rooms, goes after families with a dedicated water park and kids' programming.

Tying it all together is The Boulevard, an open-air promenade linking all three new resorts to the existing Costa Bávaro property. It features chef-driven restaurants, casual dining, cocktail bars, and nightlife — essentially creating a self-contained resort district where guests can wander between properties.

The timing is notable. Punta Cana has seen a surge in new all-inclusive development, with Hyatt Ziva recently announcing a 650-room property in the area and several Riu properties already operating along the coast. Lopesan's bet is that the connected-campus model — multiple hotels sharing a single dining and entertainment corridor — gives it an edge over standalone competitors.

All three resorts are now accepting reservations for stays beginning June 1, 2026.
