The Caribbean's Biggest New All-Inclusive Opens Next Month — With Over 2,000 Suites and a Greg Norman Golf Course
Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana debuts June 1 with 2,171 suites, 20+ restaurants, nine pools, a water park, and a Greg Norman-designed golf course.
Palace Resorts is about to open the largest new all-inclusive resort anywhere in the Caribbean this year. Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana launches on June 1 in the Dominican Republic, bringing 2,171 suites to the country's eastern coastline — a scale that dwarfs nearly every recent resort debut in the region.
The property sits within the broader Punta Cana corridor and checks almost every box a mega-resort can. There are more than 20 dining venues spread across the complex, nine swimming pools, a dedicated water park, a full-service casino, and the O Spa. The centerpiece outdoor amenity is a golf course designed by Greg Norman, adding a significant draw for travelers who want more than beach and pool time.
Room Categories and Pricing
About two-thirds of the suites offer ocean views, and the property includes swim-up room options for guests who want direct pool access from their terrace. Opening-week rates start at $849 per night for a Grand Superior Deluxe Golf View room, while swim-up suites run closer to $1,400 per night — positioning the resort at the upper end of the Dominican Republic's all-inclusive market.
Core operations — accommodations, primary restaurants, pools, and activity areas — will be active from day one. Some nightlife venues and additional concepts are expected to open later in 2026 as the property ramps up.
The debut adds significant inventory to a Punta Cana market that has seen aggressive growth from competitors like Hyatt Inclusive Collection and Riu Hotels. With over 2,000 keys entering the market at once, the opening will be closely watched as a bellwether for demand in the Dominican Republic's resort corridor.
