Crystal Cove Barbados has opened its doors on the island's west coast, becoming the first all-inclusive property under Marriott's Tribute Portfolio brand. The intimate 88-room resort sits along the Platinum Coast, one of Barbados's most sought-after stretches of Caribbean shoreline.

The property features three lagoon-style pools with surrounding terraces, a Cave Bar built into natural rock formations with a swim-up waterfall, and a CAMP Kids Club through Marriott's family partnership. Dining options include High Tie Bar, serving Bajan and Caribbean dishes, Artisan Restaurant with a rotating chef-curated menu, and Vista Terrace Coffee & Wine Bar.

Water sports — kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, and water skiing — are all included in the nightly rate, which starts at roughly $466 for entry-level rooms. Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points at the property.

The opening is part of Marriott's aggressive push into the Caribbean all-inclusive market. The company has announced plans to open six luxury-branded all-inclusive resorts across the Caribbean and Latin America over the next four years, including properties under the JW Marriott, Westin, and Autograph Collection flags.

Crystal Cove's deliberately small footprint — just 88 rooms compared to the 300-plus room mega-resorts common in the region — positions it as a boutique alternative for travelers who want the all-inclusive convenience without the crowd.
