El Médano Beach is the card Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos holds that most Cabo resorts can't match. While much of the coastline here runs into Pacific surf too rough for swimming, El Médano's protected bay stays calm enough for families and casual swimmers year-round. The resort sits directly on that beach, which is Blue Flag certified and broad enough to feel spacious even when busy. Land's End and El Arco are visible from the shore, giving the setting an immediately recognizable character.
The 148 all-suite layout is deliberately compact for Cabo's all-inclusive scene. That scale suits couples and families who find sprawling mega-resorts disorienting—you can walk end to end in a few minutes, and the staff recognition that comes with a smaller property shows up in guest reviews consistently. Families with children aged 4–11 get a supervised Kids Club running Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM; teens can access the Fun Lab at sister property Sunset Beach via the complimentary shuttle.
The honest limitation here is dining volume. Two on-site restaurants—Cilantro's for seafood and Las Palomas for Mexican and international fare—cover the basics capably, but variety runs thin by day four of a week-long stay. The saving grace is the complimentary shuttle system connecting guests to Pueblo Bonito Rosé and Sunset Beach, which collectively adds 31 more restaurants and 7 bars to the program. The catch: reservation slots at popular venues fill fast, and the shuttle schedule constrains spontaneity.
Practically: 148 suites, all with kitchenette and private balcony or patio. Junior Suites run 540 sq ft; Luxury Suites reach 715 sq ft. The all-inclusive rate covers meals, domestic drinks, 24-hour room service, and shuttle access to sister properties. Los Cabos International Airport is 29–30 miles away—35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic, which can be unpredictable on the Transpeninsular Highway during holiday periods.
Best booking window is shoulder season—late September through November avoids summer humidity and January–March spring break crowds while maintaining excellent weather. Request higher floors on the south side for unobstructed El Arco views.
