Rating8.3On-site activities are light—the location adjacent to downtown Cabo is the actual draw. Spanish classes, water aerobics, and botanical tours run daily. Most adventure activities require booking through Cabo Adventures, the resort's partner.

Activities at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Beach Resort

Free-form layout with cascading waterfall features, a hot tub, and swim-up bar. Dedicated children's section. Gets busy during late morning through early afternoon—arrive early for prime loungers. The swim-up bar closes at 5 PM.
Available via shuttle. The Rosé pool area tends to run quieter than Sunset Beach during high season—worth the 10-minute ride if you want a calmer pool experience.
Dedicated kids' pool at the sister property. Shallower and supervised—appropriate for young children who haven't graduated to the main pool.
Shuttle-accessible. The only adults-only pool option in the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos network. Tends to stay calmer and quieter; ideal for guests who've been fighting for chairs at the main pool.
Multiple pools including an infinity option at the Pacific-side Sunset Beach property. The views are dramatic, but the beach at Sunset is not swimmable—the pool is the draw here.
Dedicated children's pool complex at Sunset Beach with more elaborate water features than the Rosé equivalent.
Serene adult pool zone at the clifftop Sunset Beach property. The Pacific Ocean backdrop is the best view in the Pueblo Bonito network, even if swimming in the ocean there is off-limits.
Blue Flag certified, roughly 500 meters of golden sand directly in front of the property. One of the few beaches in Cabo San Lucas where the water is calm enough for swimming—the protected bay geometry makes the difference. Beach vendors work this stretch actively; assertive but polite declines work. Some sun loungers near the water's edge show wear. Waiter service available on the sand during peak hours.
Courts are at Pueblo Bonito Rosé and Sunset Beach—shuttle required. No rental charge, but courts can book up during morning hours. Worth calling ahead if tennis is a priority.
Horseback riding, ATV tours, mountain biking, and zip-line through Cabo Adventures. All involve extra charges and off-site logistics. The resort concierge handles bookings. ATV tours are the most popular; book a day ahead during busy seasons.
Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course with complimentary shuttle from the resort. Green fees not included in the all-inclusive rate. One of the genuinely strong golf venues in Los Cabos; non-golfers are better served elsewhere.
Yoga and Pilates typically available for an additional fee. The on-site fitness center is small—limited equipment. Guests with serious fitness routines may find this insufficient.
Ages 4–11, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Fee applies per full or half day. Arts and crafts, board games, and pool games. Teens (12–19) access the Fun Lab at Sunset Beach via shuttle—video games, pool table, movie area.
Walking distance to the marina, shopping, and bars along the main drag. This proximity is a genuine differentiator compared to Pacific-side resorts. El Squid Roe and Cabo Wabo are a 10-minute walk.
Scheduled as special events or for an additional charge; ask activities staff on arrival for the week's schedule. The tequila tasting is worth attending once for the educational angle on Baja agave production.
Boat cruises, snorkeling tours, whale watching (seasonal—December through March), and private yacht charters bookable through the concierge. Whale watching in peak season is one of the most memorable experiences available from this resort.
Bookable through the resort concierge. Unique in the Cabo context—most visitors don't know this exists. Expect a 90-minute off-site excursion through desert terrain north of town.
Arrange exciting deep-sea fishing charters or unforgettable swimming with dolphins experiences for an additional fee.
