Rating7.9The dining program spans a la carte specialty restaurants, two international buffets, and multiple bars, with cross-access to the Colonial and White Sand properties expanding the options. A la carte dinners are limited to 3-4 per week depending on stay length, so reserving early matters. Dress code at evening a la carte venues requires sleeved shirts and long pants or formal bermudas for men — enforced at the door.

Japanese
Japanese restaurant with both an a la carte menu and teppanyaki tables where chefs cook in front of you. The teppanyaki experience is the most in-demand reservation in the complex — book it on your first day. The sushi bar runs alongside the main menu with a rotating selection of rolls and sashimi.
Signature dishes: Teppanyaki show cooking, Sushi bar selections, Miso-glazed dishes
American Steakhouse
American-style steakhouse with prime cuts — filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip — grilled to order. Lobster is available when in season at an additional charge. A reliable choice for red meat eaters and a good fallback when Sumptuori is fully booked.
Signature dishes: Filet mignon, Ribeye steak, Seasonal lobster (surcharge)
Mexican
Hacienda-style Mexican restaurant with enchiladas, mole, and regional specialties served in a warmly decorated interior. One of the more authentic-feeling dining rooms in the complex. Not the same as street food in Mexico, but above average for an all-inclusive Mexican offering.
Signature dishes: Classic margarita, Spiked coffee punch, Regional Mexican specialties
Argentinian Grill
Argentinian grill with gaucho-style meats, empanadas, and South American sides. Outdoor seating available. The wood-fired grill preparations are the reason to come — the empanadas are worth ordering as a starter.
Signature dishes: Grilled Argentine beef, Chorizo, Empanadas
International Light Bites
Beachfront bar and restaurant serving global light bites with Caribbean views. Sand underfoot, tropical cocktails, cold Mexican beer. The go-to for lunch on the beach without retreating to the buffet. Food is casual — sandwiches, tacos, burgers — but the setting makes it.
International
Largest buffet on property with stations for grilled meats, pizzas, pastas, and salads, plus a make-your-own cocktail area. Open for all three meals. Temperature consistency at the hot food stations varies during busy periods.
International
Second international buffet with pool views from an outdoor terrace. Similar format to La Hacienda with rotating themed dinner nights. A slightly more relaxed setting than the larger buffet restaurant.
Cocktails & Drinks
Striking main bar with tall mirrored ceilings lined with bottles. Pre-dinner cocktails and late-night drinks in a visually impressive space near the main lobby.
Swim-up Bar
Swim-up and walk-up bar with a wrap-around bar top under a palm-leaf roof. Tropical cocktails, frozen drinks, beer, and snacks available without leaving the pool.
Pool Bar
Adults-only pool bar in the El Secreto area. Quieter and more relaxed than the main pool bar. The go-to for guests using the adults-only pool.
Bar Food & Sports
Multiple screens showing live sports, plus an Xbox gaming corner and bar food menu from 6 PM to 1 AM. The only place on property to get snacks after the main restaurants close for the night.
Beach Bar
Casual beachfront bar with tropical cocktails and cold drinks at the waterline. Steps from the Caribbean — the most straightforward place to get a drink without leaving the beach.
Immersive Dining
Premium dinner experience combining food and projected animation — a tiny virtual chef is projected onto your plate preparing each course in a whimsical sequence. An extra-charge novelty that divides opinion: genuinely clever concept, though the food itself is secondary to the show. Worth it once for the experience.
Signature dishes: Immersive projection-mapped courses
Tasting Menu & Cabaret
Multi-course dinner paired with cabaret entertainment — singers, dancers, aerialists, and acrobats. Extra charge not covered by the all-inclusive rate. A special-occasion dinner that the resort recommends booking before arrival. The production quality is notably above standard resort shows.
Dinner Show
Family-friendly version of the Chic Cabaret format — dinner plus live entertainment designed for all ages. Extra charge. More energetic and accessible than Chic Cabaret for families with younger children.
