One of Cancun's Best-Known Adults-Only All-Inclusives Just Reopened — With a Bigger Preferred Club

Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort has reopened north of Cancun following a comprehensive renovation that touched nearly every part of the property — suites, restaurants, public areas, nightlife venues, and wellness facilities.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort holds 424 suites in Playa Mujeres, the white-sand district that has become one of greater Cancun's most active luxury corridors. Owner Hyatt Inclusive Collection redesigned the accommodations with a contemporary coastal look, adding new furnishings, updated finishes, and refreshed bathrooms.

The headline change for repeat guests is the Preferred Club, which has been expanded with additional amenities and upgraded lounge space. The higher room tier typically layers in private check-in, enhanced in-room features, and dedicated concierge service on top of the standard all-inclusive program.

Dining and evening entertainment were part of the overhaul too. The resort runs multiple restaurants and bars, with meals, drinks, and most activities folded into the nightly rate. Renewed spa and fitness facilities round out a stay that can stay largely on property — though the Playa Mujeres Golf Club and the ferries to Isla Mujeres sit close by.

The reopening restores a major option to a district already dense with all-inclusive names, from Secrets siblings to neighboring adults-only flagships. Early rates were running around $508 a night, per Google Hotels.
