A Spanish Hotel Group Just Opened Three All-Inclusive Resorts at Once — All on the Same Beach
Lopesan Hotel Group debuted three new five-star properties in Punta Cana on May 1, adding over 1,000 rooms and a shared promenade with dozens of dining venues.
Lopesan Hotel Group has pulled off one of the most ambitious resort launches in recent Caribbean history, opening three new all-inclusive properties simultaneously in Punta Cana on May 1, 2026.
The trio — Lopesan Caoba Lagoon (552 rooms), Lopesan Serenity Bay (239 adults-only rooms), and Lopesan Splash Cove (244 family-focused rooms) — sit adjacent to the company's existing Lopesan Costa Bavaro resort, creating a sprawling complex connected by The Boulevard, an open-air promenade lined with chef-driven restaurants, cocktail bars, and nightlife venues.
Splash Cove is the standout for families, built around a 55,500-square-foot lagoon-style pool with a wave pool, waterfalls, and cenotes. It also features swim-up rooms with private terraces that connect directly to the water. Serenity Bay targets couples and solo travelers with a quieter, wellness-oriented design. Caoba Lagoon occupies the middle ground with eight pools, a beach club, and the most diverse dining lineup of the three.
The combined complex now offers guests access to more than 20 restaurants and bars across the four properties. All three new resorts are about 20 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
The opening marks a significant bet on the Dominican Republic by the Spain-based hotel group, which already operates properties in the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. With competition heating up in Punta Cana — including Palace Resorts' upcoming mega-resort nearby — Lopesan is clearly positioning itself as a major player in the Caribbean all-inclusive market.
