Service Inconsistency
Some guests, particularly in early reviews, noted inconsistent service quality, including slow service and difficulty getting staff attention, suggesting initial operational 'growing pains'.

While basic Wi-Fi is included, it can be slow, with some guests finding a need to upgrade to potentially extra-cost 'premium Wi-Fi' for reliable connectivity.
Perk Delivery Inconsistencies
Guests should be aware of minor inconsistencies in the consistent delivery of advertised 'Exclusive Collection' perks, such as daily mini-bar restocking or turn-down service.
Shuttle Reliance for Location
Rooms on the outskirts of the expansive property offer peace but may necessitate reliance on the resort's shuttle service, which could involve 'fairly long wait times'.

Club Med Seychelles opened on Sainte Anne Island on March 29, 2021, following a €70 million renovation of an older property. The architect Gauthier Guillaume's design imposes a 'Robinson Chic' sensibility — natural wood, botanical details, and structures that sit within the jungle rather than confronting it. The location is genuinely unusual: Sainte Anne Island sits inside the Sainte-Anne Marine National Park, accessible only by boat, and the resort is the only accommodation on the island. The transfer from Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé takes 15 minutes by car plus 15 minutes by boat — a pleasant arrival rather than a logistics problem.
The resort's clearest differentiator in the Indian Ocean market is what it offers families: it is the only resort in the Seychelles archipelago providing infant childcare from 4 months, with programs running through age 17. The Exclusive Collection tier means the base experience is high-end — champagne included after 6pm for all guests, 34 activities included (snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, tennis, archery, hiking on the island), and a design sensibility that takes sustainability seriously with active BREEAM and Green Globe certifications and coral and turtle conservation programs.
Who should reconsider: guests expecting seamless five-star service may encounter inconsistencies that don't match the price point. Early reviews (2021) noted slow service and the occasional operational gap typical of a new opening. Guests staying in rooms farther from the main village area rely on resort shuttles, and wait times can be frustrating. Wi-Fi speed in standard rooms is often insufficient without upgrading to premium.
Practically: 290–295 rooms across 12 categories from 366 sq ft Superior rooms to a 3,466 sq ft three-bedroom villa with private pool, butler service, and private buggy. The island setting imposes a real pace — boats are the only way in or out, which concentrates the experience on the property itself. Budget for this: if you want to explore the wider Seychelles (Praslin, La Digue), boat excursions cost extra.
