Excellent Value for Money
Many visitors feel the Allegro Agadir offers strong value for its price, especially considering the all-inclusive options, location, and quality of service.
Poor All-Inclusive Drinks
A very common complaint is the low quality or watered-down nature of included alcoholic beverages, often leading guests to pay extra for branded drinks.
Lack of Evening Entertainment
Guests frequently report that the hotel's evening entertainment program is minimal or non-existent, which may disappoint those seeking lively resort activities after dark.
Potential Noise Issues
Some guests have experienced noise from adjacent rooms, corridors, or areas below the bar, indicating that room location can impact sleep quality.
Repetitive Buffet Food
While food is generally good, longer stays can reveal a repetitive buffet selection, prompting some guests to seek dining options outside the hotel.
Nearby Construction
Guests should be aware of ongoing construction for an Aqua Park next to the hotel until September 2026, which may cause occasional soft auditory disturbances.

Allegro Agadir's strongest selling point is its position: direct access to Agadir's main beach, one of the longest and most swimmable Atlantic coastlines in Morocco, plus a 20-minute walk to the city center's restaurants and shops. It's a base for exploring rather than a self-contained luxury bubble, and its value-for-money positioning makes it appropriate for that use. A full renovation completed in 2020 brought rooms and facilities up to date from a property that originally opened in 1972.
This resort suits budget-conscious families and couples who want a beachfront all-inclusive in Morocco without paying the price tier of more premium Agadir properties. The kids' pool and Mini Club program (ages 4–12) make it functional for families. The surf breaks at Tamraght and Taghazout are close enough to reach as day trips, which adds a demographic of surf-curious travelers who want a proper base rather than a surf camp. It's not the right call for guests prioritizing evening entertainment, premium drinks, or varied dining — all three are consistent weak points here.
The clearest and most repeated guest complaint is the all-inclusive drink quality. The standard cocktails and house spirits are widely described as watered down; guests who care about alcohol quality end up paying extra for branded options. Evening entertainment is also sparse — this is not a resort where the nighttime program competes with its daytime beach access. Budget accordingly and adjust expectations for the entertainment side.
Practical details: 4-star rating, central Agadir location, 20–35 minutes from Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA). Ongoing construction of an adjacent aqua park (scheduled through September 2026) generates periodic low-level noise. No room service available. Language note: French and Arabic are the dominant languages at front desk and restaurants — limited English-speaking staff is a consistent guest note.
Agadir's climate is year-round, with summers warm and dry and winters mild — one of Morocco's most reliably good-weather destinations. That makes shoulder season (April–May, October–November) excellent value, with comfortable temperatures and lower rates than the European school holiday peaks.
