Royalton Luxury Resorts is set to open Royalton Vessence Barbados on June 1, a 220-suite adults-oriented all-inclusive on Discovery Bay along Barbados Platinum Coast near Holetown.

The property joins Marriott Autograph Collection and will sit alongside existing Autograph properties on the island, including The House and Tamarind. That gives Marriott three all-inclusive flags on the west coast alone, a concentration that underscores the brand confidence in the destination.

Vessence will feature 13 dining concepts and multiple bars, a rooftop pool reserved for Diamond Club guests, and swim-out suites with direct pool access from private terraces. Room categories range from Luxury Junior Suites to butler-serviced Diamond Club rooms with dedicated rooftop access.

Rates start at roughly $849 per night for entry-level suites, climbing to around $1,221 for swim-out units. The pricing positions Vessence at the premium end of the Barbados all-inclusive market, well above mid-range competitors but below the ultra-luxury villa segment.

The opening adds to a broader wave of all-inclusive investment in Barbados, which has traditionally been known for boutique hotels and independent properties rather than large-scale packaged resorts. With Sandals already operating two properties on the island, Royalton arrival signals that major brands see room for growth in this market.
