This Global Hotel Giant Made a Beach Brand Its 18th — and Opened Its Points to Dozens of All-Inclusives
IHG's alliance with Iberostar Beachfront Resorts lets One Rewards members earn and redeem at participating all-inclusives, with up to 50 percent off reward nights this year.
One of the world's largest hotel companies has folded a beachfront all-inclusive name into its loyalty ecosystem. IHG Hotels & Resorts counts Iberostar Beachfront Resorts as its 18th brand, an alliance that ultimately brings roughly 70 hotels and about 24,300 rooms into the IHG fold.
For travelers, the practical payoff is in the points. IHG One Rewards members can now earn on qualifying stays booked through IHG channels and redeem reward nights at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, plus on-property perks such as 2 p.m. checkout where available. As of this year, 27 participating resorts across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Brazil, Aruba, and the United States are offering up to 50 percent savings on reward nights through November 30, 2026.
That opens some marquee properties to points travelers, including Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Jamaica, Iberostar Selection Cancún, and Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites in Punta Cana.
The tie-up fits a broader pattern. As brands from Hyatt to Marriott race to scale their all-inclusive footprints, IHG's route has been partnership rather than acquisition — bolting a proven beachfront operator onto its rewards program instead of building the resorts itself. For members who already collect IHG points on business travel, it means those balances now stretch to a Caribbean beach.
