This Boutique Hotel Brand Is Opening Its First-Ever Caribbean Property — on One of the World's Best Beaches
Hyatt's Andaz brand will debut in the Caribbean next month with a 59-room resort on Grace Bay Beach in Turks & Caicos.
Hyatt's Andaz brand is heading to the Caribbean for the first time, with a new 59-room property set to open in May 2026 on Providenciales' legendary Grace Bay Beach.
The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay will sit on 5.5 acres of prime beachfront, making it one of the most significant luxury additions to the island's hotel scene in years. Alongside the 59 hotel rooms, the property will include 74 branded residences available for purchase.
Guests can expect three restaurants and bars, a full-service spa with an indoor/outdoor concept, a garden yoga studio, a fitness center, and a kids' club. There's also a pickleball court and direct access to Bight Reef, one of the best snorkeling spots on the island.
Why It Matters
The Andaz brand is known for boutique-style luxury that reflects the personality of its surroundings — and the Turks & Caicos property is designed to capture the natural, laid-back feel of the Provo coastline. It's a departure from the large-scale all-inclusive model that dominates much of the Caribbean.
The opening adds to an already competitive stretch of Grace Bay, where Beaches Turks & Caicos and Club Med Turkoise have long anchored the all-inclusive scene. But the Andaz is targeting a different kind of traveler — one who wants high-end service without the mega-resort footprint.
It's part of a broader push by Hyatt to expand its Caribbean presence. The company just opened the Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman earlier this month, and its Secrets and Dreams brands continue to grow across Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
